The revamped design of the Type 1 gives the Type 1 Slim a thinner case, only being 11mm thick compared to 13mm of previous models. The 42mm case and lugs are milled from a single block of titanium, and the white hands and grey markers pop against the monochromatic red dial, making it very legible.
